Reese’s 1900

First up is Reese’s 1900. This Patchogue classic restaurant provides bar and dining services and offers both Irish and American cuisine. It’s a perfect reflection of the Irish culture Patchogue is known for, and the food matches the welcoming and warm spirit the waitstaff always demonstrates.

The sandwiches, burgers, and salads are particularly delightful for your tastebuds. The crispy season wings and fresh mozzarella are also excellent choices, especially if you are just in the mood for a snack. With a high rating on Tripadvisor, Reese’s 1900 isn’t just loved by us: It’s a neighborhood staple where regulars come and go all the time.

South Ocean Grill

South Ocean Grill is one of the best seafood restaurants in Patchogue. Not only is it massively popular, but it also offers an exquisite bar and dining services in a wonderfully decorated, well-staffed environment. Seafood is the main attraction, of course, but this restaurant also offers American cuisine as well as vegetarian options.

If you’re thirsty, you’ll find handcrafted cocktails and plenty of other beverages to wash down your chosen meal. Most of the dishes here use home-grown, homemade ingredients, so the resulting food is always great tasting.

It’s no surprise, either, considering the South Ocean Grill’s proximity to the ocean provides a steady supply of fresh fish! Perhaps most importantly, this Patchogue restaurant is relatively affordable, as most dishes are about $30 or less, and you can pay with a card if you so choose.

The Cuban

The Cuban is the go-to place to get Cuban cuisine in Patchogue. Here, you’ll find all manner of Spanish, Caribbean, and Latin dishes. No matter what you order, you’ll find food that’s authentic, delicious, and prepared quickly.

The environment is also quite nice, featuring a colorful central bar with knowledgeable bartenders and plenty of handcrafted drinks available. The food here is traditionally seasoned, so it feels like going home if you’ve grown up eating Cuban or Spanish cuisine. The Cuban also offers some vegan and vegetarian options, though these are a little limited.

If you need a place to hold a private event, The Cuban further provides catering services as well as reservations and outdoor seating. It’s a perfect place for a birthday bash or a big get-together with your friends and family members.

ButterMilk’s Kitchen

ButterMilk’s Kitchen is deep in the heart of Patchogue, so it’s ideal for a date night or for dining with your friends after work. This breakfast and lunch restaurant is comfortable and inviting plus features a somewhat limited but delicious menu of wraps, grilled cheese sandwiches, side dishes, soups, salads, and, of course, desserts.

While the food is excellent from start to finish, the staff and customer service deserve special mention. Here, you’ll always feel like you are taken care of, and you’ll never find the wrong plate brought to your table. Also, if you have special dietary concerns, such as vegan or vegetarian restrictions, you’ll find that ButterMilk’s Kitchen can take care of you.

They even offer take-out: a perfect fix when you’re working from home and are craving a hot meal.

360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge

360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge is a delicious Patchogue Japanese restaurant. Lunch, dinner, and bar services are all available here, and we highly recommend that you try the signature sushi. Choose from several different sushi types, each handcrafted and immaculately prepared, and give your tastebuds an unforgettable experience.

If sushi isn’t your favorite, rest assured that360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge also offers other Japanese cuisine. No matter what you choose to order, each dish is very colorful and presented creatively, so it is just as fun as it is tasty to dine here.

Drift 82

Drift 82 is yet another top Patchogue restaurant we highly recommend. This American restaurant is classy, welcoming, and positioned right on the water, so it’s a great place to enjoy the sunset sparkling on the waves over dinner.

Of course, the food is also something to write home about. This beach-décor eatery offers excellent dishes such as petite filet mignon, New York strip steak, porterhouse pork chops, and many more options. Drift 82 always offers a pleasant dining experience through and through, plus several amazing cocktails to go with your choice of meal.

A robust wine list and reasonably varied beer selection round out its culinary offerings. Definitely come here if you want to enjoy a good dinner practically on the water.

Rocco’s Pizza

You can’t forget Rocco’s Pizza, a top-tier pizza joint in the heart of Patchogue. This Italian restaurant has one of the widest pizza menus we’ve ever seen, so there’s sure to be a pie tailored to your preferences. Additionally, Rocco’s serves pasta, seafood, and a handful of baked dishes, such as soups, salads, and sandwiches.

Desserts and beverages are also available, plus there’s a “healthier choice” menu if you want to cut down on carbs. Street parking is the name of the game if you visit Rocco’s Pizza, which can make dining in a little difficult. More often, Patchogue natives take advantage of this eatery’s take-out or delivery services. Rocco’s also does catering if you need a lot of pizza cooked up for a major event, like a birthday party.

Bobbique

Bobbique’s name hints at its culinary focus: barbecue food. Whether you’re in the mood for a full barbecue lunch or just a half rack of ribs, Bobbique has you covered and then some.

This Southern barbecue Patchogue restaurant offers fresh meats smoked to the exact right point for maximum tenderness and taste. Pulled pork, prime brisket, and barbecue chicken are better here than they are anywhere else.

The salad is nothing special, but Bobbique does offer well-crafted sandwiches and homemade side dishes. The beer selection is also quite excellent, which goes perfectly with the live music frequently available to restaurant patrons.

Come here with your friends after a stressful week at work or for a weekend lunch date with a significant other or your family.

Rhum

Rhum is a unique Patchogue eating destination. This Caribbean restaurant doubles as a cocktail bar and is known for its stylish aesthetic, plus its stellar food and drink options. Some of the best dishes include seared scallops, grilled filet mignon, chorizo, and pomme purée – to name a few.

On top of that, you can enjoy homemade cocktails, fine wines, and other beverages in a variety of well-designed, highly organized dining rooms. Rhum often feels very busy because it can simply seat many more people than comparable Patchogue restaurants.

Should you need a restaurant that goes above and beyond, Rhum will also serve you well. Its seating and catering services are both excellent, and when you visit Rhum in the fall or winter, you may be seated on a heated rooftop, giving you a perfect view of the Manhattan skyline. Note, too, that vegetarian food options and nonalcoholic beverages are available for those with dietary restrictions.

Catch Oyster Bar

Catch Oyster Bar is another quality Patchogue seafood eatery. It’s not too expensive, and it offers dine-in, take-out, and delivery options depending on your needs. This lunch and dinner restaurant has several great dishes to try, such as a crab cake slider or seafood bisque. The titular oysters are also excellent.

Add to that a full bar so you can partake in handcrafted cocktails or select wines, and it’s clear this is a delicious and affordable seafood spot in Patchogue we’d highly recommend.

Flame Halal Gyro

Flame Halal Gyro is a choice Patchogue fast food spot, offering falafel and chicken wings alongside gyro dishes, such as wraps. This fast food joint offers amazing food and free samples if you haven’t experienced it yet.

Every dish on the menu is made fresh and packed with spices: Few fast food restaurants in Patchogue manage to maintain consistency and quality like Flame Halal Gyro!

Bird & Bao

Bird & Bao is a phenomenal Asian fusion spot featuring curbside pickup, delivery, and take-out options if you don’t want to dine in. This hipster, casual, and trendy eatery also offers catering, which is great given the quality and quantity of its delicious food. Sandwiches, fried foods, and Asian tacos are all available in a variety of different flavors.

You can also find vegetarian and vegan options here if you have dietary restrictions. Bike parking and street parking make it a favorite spot for college students or young professionals in Patchogue. While it may not be the best place to take a date, one bite of Bird and Bao’s food will have you coming back for more within a week.

Ruta Oaxaca Mexican Cuisine

Ruta Oaxaca Mexican Cuisine is arguably the most authentic Mexican restaurant in all of Patchogue. Not only does this restaurant feel down-to-earth and small-town (even in the heart of New York City), but its food is phenomenal.

Well-seasoned steak, enchiladas, Mexican-style seasoned corn on the cob, and tacos are just a few of the culinary delights you can experience if you stop by.
