William Aronin

William R. Aronin joined Schwartzapfel Partners, P.C. as an Associate in 2011. Mr. Aronin is a 2006 graduate of the University at Buffalo where he majored in Business, minored in English, and received a Journalism Certificate. Thereafter, in 2009, Mr. Aronin earned his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, where he was honored as a Carswell Merit Scholar.
Mr. Aronin began his legal career as an Associate with prominent criminal defense attorney Gerald Shargel, together with whom he represented clients in a wide array of criminal cases in both federal and state courts, at both the trial and appellate levels, including matters involving large-scale securities fraud, money laundering, embargo violations, and organized crime.
While at Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Aronin was honored to compete in numerous national Trial and Appellate competitions for the Moot Court Honor Society. During one such competition, Mr. Aronin was recognized as having conducted the Best Cross Examination. In addition, while at Brooklyn Law, Mr. Aronin was the recipient of CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in both Evidence Workshop as well as Sports Law.
Mr. Aronin is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, and is a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers Association.
