The 13th Precinct is located in the lower portion of midtown Manhattan. Included in this area are the Peter Cooper/Stuyvesant Town residential complex (owned and operated by MetLife Insurance Company), Gramercy Park, the lower portion of Rose Hill and a portion of Chelsea. The precinct is home to several major insurance companies (MetLife, New York Life and Guardian Life), major health care facilities, Consolidated Edison Headquarters and several commercial associations.
