Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been used for decades by millions of women to relieve the symptoms of menopause. Drugs such as Premarin, Provera and Prempro have become a standard treatment for American women over the age of 40. It’s estimated that nearly 40% of all American women are taking or have taken some form of hormone therapy in their lifetimes.
