Background

Mr. Fiedler was born in 1953 and attended Syracuse University where he earned a B.A. degree in 1975. He attended New York University School of Law and the California Western School of Law, where in 1978 he received his Juris Doctor. In 1979, Mr. Fiedler was admitted to the bar of New York as well as the U.S. District Court in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Mr. Fielder stays abreast of legal developments and has lectured at seminars for the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Law Journal Seminars and Practicing Law Institute. A frequent commentator on legal news and trends, he has served as a commentator on Court TV and also been interviewed by 60 minutes. He has appeared on the Today show and been featured in Newsday, The Journal News and Savvy magazine.

Chosen as one of the top 100 trial lawyers by the American Association of Trial Lawyers, Mr. Fiedler has been selected as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and included in The Best Lawyers in America, New York Super Lawyers, New York Magazine’s Best Lawyers issue and Best Trial Lawyers in Westchester.
