Who is Responsible?



 

Toxic welding rod fumes are a danger that the American welding industry has known about since 1937. The industry has squashed many attempts to publicize the dangers associated with welding fumes and consistently denies that welding fumes alone can cause nervous system disorders.

Welders are now suing the manufacturers who failed to inform them of the deadly risks of toxic welding rod fumes.  In October 2003 an Illinois jury awarded $1 million to welder who developed Parkinson's disease from years of using welding rods.
