Toxic Welding Rods

Construction workers across the country are showing symptoms of Parkinson's-like diseases that are directly related to their work in welding. The fumes released by an element found in welding rods, Manganese, can cause devastating physical and mental injuries. The sad fact is that these workers may not even know they're sick.

Now more welders are coming forward to spread the word about Manganese exposure and to take action against the manufacturers who deceived them for so many years. In October 2003, an Illinois jury awarded $1 million to a 57 year old man who claimed he developed Parkinson's disease from using welding rods for over 25 years. The jury found welding rod manufacturers Lincoln Electric, Hobart and BOC responsible for Larry Elam's injuries, due to their failure to inform him of the risks of Manganese fumes.

You may think that you or your loved ones are too young to have a Parkinson's-like disease, but unfortunately that's not true.

If you're a welder and suffering from any of the symptoms listed above or if you have family, friends or loved ones who worked in welding and are starting to suffer from these conditions, please call us at 1.800.966.4999 or fill out the form to the right of the page for immediate attention to your case.
