Caraco gets FDA nod to market generic Paxil

BANGALORE (Reuters) - Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd. said U.S. health regulators granted final approval for its generic version of GlaxoSmithKline PLC's anti-depressant Paxil.

For the 12 months ended March 2007, paroxetine HCl generic and brand products had annual sales of about $330 million, according to IMS data.
