Background
Mr. Harvey Weitz was born in New York City on August
16, 1932. He attended Brooklyn College, graduating with an A.B.
in 1951 and Brooklyn Law School, receiving his J.D. in 1954. Over
the course of Mr. Weitz’s incredible career spanning nearly
four decades, he has been elected President of the New York State
Trial Lawyers Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates,
has been named Lawyer of the Year by the Trial Lawyers Section,
has been a contributing author to a number of high profile publications
including Trial Lawyers Quarterly and NYSTLA Bill of Particulars
and has been named to countless prestigious boards such as the
ATLA Hall of Fame Committee and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
