Background
Theresa was born on Long Island in 1975. She joined Schwartzapfel Partners in 2000.
Theresa attended St. John’s University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology in 1997. While at St. John’s University, Theresa participated in a judicial internship with the Appellate Division, Second Department under the supervision of the Honorable William Friedmann where she reviewed and researched appellate briefs and assisted in the writing of judicial opinions. Theresa also participated in an internship with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where she worked with trial attorneys and assisted in the preparation of criminal trials. She was also a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society at the University.
Theresa earned her Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center in 2007. While at Touro, she also earned the CALI Award for Academic Excellence for her writing of an Appellate Brief.
Practice Areas
Theresa concentrates her practice in personal injury, wrongful death, and no-fault arbitrations.

Theresa is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.
