Background
Brian was born on Long Island in 1969. He attended Boston University and earned his B.A. / B.S. degree in 1991. Brian received an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami in 1992 and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University in 1996. Like many of the attorneys at Schwartzapfel Partners, Mr. Sachs comes to us from a background in insurance defense litigation.
After law school, Brian began his practice of law as staff counsel for one of the largest insurance companies
in the State of New York. He was promoted soon after to trial counsel. In 2000, Mr. Sachs decided to utilize his defense experience to become an advocate for individuals and families injured in accidents. By 2002 he had become the managing attorney and lead counsel of an established personal injury firm. He has since brought his understanding of insurance company procedures and tactics, as well as his skill in both litigation and managing cases, to Schwartzapfel Truhowsky Marcus Sachs P.C.
