Peter Citrin is an associate attorney at Schwartzapfel Truhowsky Marcus Sachs P.C.

 

Background
Mr Citrin graduated cum laude from Queens College in 1975 with a BA in Political Science. He attended Brooklyn Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor Degree in 1979. He was an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, assigned to Criminal Court, Special Victims and the Major Crimes Trial Bureau. It was here that he earned a reputation as a proponent of victim's rights. Peter prosecuted all types of felonies from burglaries to homicides.

Upon leaving the District Attorney's Office, Peter entered private practice with a concentration on personal injury litigation and criminal justice. Most recently, Peter has worked as in-house counsel for a leading insurance company. Peter's passion and experience make him more than just a litigator. He truly cares about his clients. Mr. Citrin is admitted to the New York State Bar in addition to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
